dPHONE: JAN-JUN 2015

In the past 6 months, I have lost 2 beautiful people. Time and mortality have been haunting my mind. More than ever, I have been feeling like I belong in a different era — a time where the quality of a book is much more appreciated than the flashy cover. With today’s sensational media cycle only lasting 24 hours or less, it sadly feels like our society has lost substance as people are trying to keep up with the deceiving lifestyle on the photo timeline of others. I feel so many people have forgotten how to live and be truly connected via genuine conversations. Between Brooklyn and Manhattan, here are snaps captured with my iPhone in between my hectic affairs and contemplation.
